how do we find people to curate without technical knowledge
getting artists to make time to learn new concepts, shift in paradigm from curated to wiki
motivation for having it be a wiki?
how do you get people to contribute their local knowledge, if they're unwilling / unable to contribute directly to a wiki?
how do you launch a new wiki within the wiki community?
idea: "wiki cavalry", swoop in to do well-defined wiki tasks (linking, categorization)
image handling in MediaWiki is kind of brittle - filename issues, uploads
"need the Meatball wiki of the modern age" - a wiki about the practice about wikis
maybe spread the meme of wiki volunteers from MediaWiki projects
need a personal touch - someone in their town (maybe their website designer?) to explain web and wikis
look for people who have MediaWiki experience, and might be interested in helping with smaller wikis
don't want to bring over Wikipedia structure unnecessarily
"treasure hunt", recognition of people who've visited the artworks / artists
what do current submissions look like? workflow for incoming submissions
build a directory of wiki people - who they are, what engines they know, what interests they have
